Carved beech and walnut box called minnekästchen. Decorated on the edge with stylised fillings of lancets surrounded by zigzag friezes; lid decorated with a rose window; angle iron, lanceolate hinges and wrought iron lock entrance; owner's mark MS. Key. Upper Rhine, Lake Constance, ca. 1500 Height: 9,4 cm - Length: 23,2 cm - Depth: 16,7 cm (slight restorations, crack in the lid for a former use as a trunk, later key)
