Rare parchment binding painted in tempera representing two saints protecting Cistercian monks. On the front cover, a bearded saint of mercy sheltering under his cloak penitent monks kneeling in white habit; on the front cover, a saint in white habit and red cloak on a green background with four penitents; on the back cover, a saint of mercy enthroned in white habit and blue cloak, the stole crossed on the chest, on a blue background, sheltering eight penitents
