Important Louis XVI period portico clock, with the signature of the clockmaker Ridel and that of the enameller Joseph Coteau for the dial (active rue de la Poupée from 1772). The movement rests on two fluted columns, on two pilasters with volutes and topped by an eagle. On either side, two vases garnished with flowers. White and black marble with rich ornamentation of garlands, cartouches and friezes in chased bronze and gilded with mercury. Dimensions : 60 X 41 X 10,5 cm. Very good condition. With key and balance. Good quality.
