Covered tureen, its display stand and its lining in silver, oval shape, the edges with mouldings of fillets and leafy clasps; the tureen standing on a pedestal decorated with canals on an amati background, the body applied with garlands of laurel leaves surrounding on each side an oval medallion, the handles with lion's head and mobile ring, the cover with doucine, chiselled with a frieze of canals, surmounted by the pine cone grip standing on a leafy terrace, the display stand with contours, the wing chiselled with canals on an amati background. Engraved later in a shield of the coat of arms of the Broussonnet family, in replacement of a degraded coat of arms.
Mark of the Master goldsmith Charles-Louis-Auguste SPRIMAN, received in 1775.
Paris, 1777-1778.
The display stand also inscribed under the edge of a trace of an old illegible mark.
