A retractable coloured gold nib holder, with guilloche decoration of horizontal fillets and lozenges, with three sections alternating with chiselled rings of foliage.
End of the 18th century.
On each end, countermark for very small works, a jasmine flower, 1781-1783; inside the nib, countermark, a dolphin head, 1782-1789 and guarantee mark, eagle head, after 1838.
