Pendant flower iris forming brooch in yellow gold 18 k (750 thousandths) and enamel plique with blue day with openwork decoration, decorated with pearls probably fine, articulated lower part. (system of the removable brooch, small accidents and misses with enamel, tool of disassembling in the bottom of the case)

The Vever company was founded in Metz by Pierre-Paul Vever (1794-1853) and taken over by his son Ernest in 1848. Ernest moved to Paris with his two sons, Paul and Henri, who became their father's collaborators and took over the management of the company in 1881. Within a few years, the company became one of the best jewelers in Paris. This rise was crowned at various exhibitions.
Grand Prix at the 1900 Paris Universal Exhibition. It is one of the most important jewellery houses in Paris, second only to Lalique.
