Black morocco, upper cover decorated with cold (hunting horn) and gilt title, smooth spine with title, gilt edges, illustrated cover and spine preserved, matching slipcase (Thérèse Moncet - Fache, gilder).
Limited edition of 1500 numbered copies. This one is the number 3 of the first 15 on chiffon de Rives, with a suite of 15 illustrations (one plate for the cover, and 14 in the book), and a large original watercolour by Baron Reille, signed (model for the illustration of the text by A. de la Rüe). This copy also contains a vignette (original watercolour) signed by baron Reille, with an autograph dispatch "to Madame J. Lebaudy, respectful homage", and a leaf with 2 ink drawings by Karl Reille imitating Crafty.
