Laurence JENKELL (born 1965) - Wrapping white candy - Plexiglas sculpture - Signed, dated 2011 and numbered 1/1 - H 80 cm With certificate of authenticity signed by the artist Provenance: work acquired at the Saint-Martin gallery in 2011 Originally from and based in Vallauris on the Côte d'Azur, she is known for her brightly coloured sculptures. She sculpts larger-than-life sweets in a variety of colours and sizes, in materials such as bronze, Plexiglas, aluminium and marble. Her candies have won public and private commissions in over 25 countries.
