Caroline MAUREL (born in 1972) - Censorship N° 2 - Lithograph signed, titled, dated 2010 and numbered 4/4 (on view 36.5 x 54.5 cm) - framed work A graduate of the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs (ENSAD) in Paris, she is fascinated by toys, which she sees as an exacerbated reflection of the worst and best of society, the embodiment of human fantasies. The artist makes the toys pose as if they were human. Her works are composed like enigmas. She is similar to a Neo-Pop-Narrative movement with a very realistic technique. She is exhibited in many galleries and fairs in Fontainebleau, Saint-Etienne, Saint-Raphaël, Milly-la-Forêt, Lille, Sceaux...
