Popular Ukrainian artist born in Kiev, two times winner of the Stalin Prize, he studied at the Institute of Fine Arts under Karp Trokhimenko. Renowned for his paintings of socialist realism, he is the author of the diorama "Medical Aid" in the Bohdan Khmelnytsky army of the Museum of Medicine in Kiev.
