Infantry saber called "Briquet", circa 1790. Single-branch bronze hilt, 59.5 cm curved blade with marking on the hilt branch: "Quant...A P...". (Quantin in Paris), scabbard with two later brass fittings. Oxidation on the blade, crack on the scabbard leather. Revolutionary period.
