Marine officer's sword model 1837. Chased brass guard, horned anchor keyboard on flags, hinged counter keyboard; square blade signed: "Coulaux & Cie Kligenthal" leather scabbard with two finely chased brass fittings. Early Third Republic period. Small missing horn on the spindle and accident to the leather of the scabbard. Fairly good condition.
