MARENNES. Pewter pitcher, with shoulder, flared foot, short quarter round cup and tassel poucier. Countermark of Jonas TAUDIN master in Bordeaux and owner of the mould: initials I.T. Mark of an unidentified master: crowned hammer / P.G already noted with the control of MARENNES for 1691. Beginning of the 18th century. Height : 22,2 cm. 22,2 cm. Only pitcher of this center listed, to my knowledge - Note the great similarity of the shape of the body of this pitcher saintongeais with that of the Guyenne pitchers.
