In 1897, Raoul Lamourdedieu joined the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-arts de Paris in Alexandre Falguière's workshop. The work of the Bordeaux sculptor and medallist was initially influenced by the sculptural work of Auguste Rodin. Here we notice the attitude taken from the Man walking on a column by the master of Meudon.
