In the center of the lid is a panel painted with dragon and phoenix over sea water, and a band of geometric patterns and 'Three Friends of Winter' next to it, and a meander border at the rim. The body of the box is painted with pine, bamboo and prunus, also with a meander border at the rim, with a seal mark in regular script ''Daming Wanli Nianzhi'' in two circles on the bottom. Well preserved, with slight traces of use. 明万历款 青花龙凤纹岁寒三友盖盒 中国，17世纪或以后 瓷器。盒盖中心开光绘龙凤及海水，外环绕一圈几何纹及岁寒三友，沿口沿一圈饰回纹。盒身绘岁寒三友，沿口沿一圈饰回纹，底心落双圈两行楷书款"大明万历年制"。保存完好，略有使用痕迹。高12.5 cm, 直径23.5 cm。
