Persian carpet, hand made "Kashan Gardi", province Kashan, Persia ca. 1850-1860 Royal carpet, with Qajar dynasty crown.
Carpet is made out of 100% natural silk from Gilan provice. Silk on silk warp.
Carpet illustrates "gate to paradise" and Qajar dynasty crown in the center, surrounded by birds and branches of a tree of life.
Carpet is very fine piece of art, and it was most likely made for the Royal Qajar family.
