BASTIN, Napoleon-Hyacinthe-Henri "Figurative plan of the properties of Mr. Ferd. Vanderaey, situated under Uccle". 1872 Drawing, 86 x 108 cm, pen, black ink and watercolour, on wove paper (sl. browned, foldings worn). Land survey plan of the property owned by Ferdinand Vanderaey (1814-1883), with the allotment in 172 lots, for a total of more than 14 hectares. Includes the castle with an elaborate rendering of the surrounding garden and woods, the plan for the Vanderaey avenue that was drawn a few years later. Napoléon-Hyacinthe-Henri Bastin (1806-1890) was "commissaire voyer" or road inspector and, in this function, he drew the plans of "Nouvel Uccle" in 1873. Ref. Ucclensia 177, p. 5. - Id. 181, p. 5.
