MICHAUX, Henri Un certain Plume. Paris Éditions du Carrefour 1930 In-8° (small red mark p. 125). Br. with yellow cover printed in black (very slightly def.). First edition except for 2 poems taken from "Trois nuits". Edition of 2040 copies, among the 2000 on vellum, one of the 200 of the s.p. (n. 139). In spite of the large print run, the work is quite rare because, following a conflict of interest with Gallimard, the director of Éditions du Carrefour, Jean Fourcade, was forced to scrap part of the edition. Autogr. signed letter to Herman Closson "his old friend". With 2 autograph notes in pencil, initialled by Michaux, on pp. 115 and 118. Ref. Grisay p. 67. - Imbert 9. Prov.
