Pre-original edition of 18 poems, published in the June 1, 1855 issue of the "Revue des Deux Mondes". The original edition containing 100 poems was published at the end of June 1857 by Poulet-Malassis and De Broise, with the known judicial consequences: trial for "outrage to public morality" and "offence to religious morality", banning of 6 pieces called "condemned" which will remain so until 1949.
