"Saint Catherine". Carved, polychromed and gilded wooden sculpture. Hispanic Flemish School. Early 16th century. _x000D_ Noble maiden, martyr of Alexandria in the year 305. The saint is depicted as young and beautiful, wearing rich clothing. _x000D_ With the wheel of blades, attribute of her torment, and the palm of martyrdom. _x000D_ The right hand and the palm are later additions. There have been some retouches to the polychrome and gilt. _x000D_ 103 x 24 x 26,5 cm
