Period: Empire (1804-1815) Epoch cylinder desk in mahogany (burl), bronze (gilt) and copper, with sheath legs, four drawers, one of which has a box, three drawers at the top, two shelves with black moleskin lined runners; cloverleaf locks throughout, black granite top. Dimensions (m): 1.31 x 1.66 x 0.85 Condition: Dust inlay, leather in poor condition, varnish chipped on back and right side, cylinder no longer closes, shoes and pieces of marquetry removed separately, missing: 1 drawer, marble, 1 cylinder handle.
