CLAUDE FRANCOIS (1939/1978): Author, composer and performer. 1 original work, metal engraving by Mick Micheyl, representing Claude François on stage in 1973. Born in 1922 and graduated from the Beaux-arts in Lyon, Mick Micheyl had an artistic career that was as complete as it was varied: singer in the 1950s, showgirl at the Casino de Paris, television producer and sculptor since the early 1970s. This painting, kept for some time by the Claude François, was then the property of Lucia François, the singer's mother, and exhibited at her home, 86 Boulevard Exelmans in Paris, until the end of his life. Reproduced in the monthly magazine Podium twice in 1973 and 1975. Format 90x70. Unique piece.
