Related work:
A bust with an identical face, but with a general of the Republic uniform, can be found in the collections of the Château de Bizy.
It should be noted that the sculptor Claude MICHALLON made a bust of Marshal Suchet in 1814-1815. Bust which is taken again in sketches of portraits of remarkable characters in all the kinds and which corresponds to the profile of our bust, so much in the profile, the uniform or the arrangement of decorations.
