Pair of flintlock naval officer's pistols, barrels with forced bullets, with sides then round, finished by a bead, barrels bearing three punches on gold background and engraved with gilded foliage (traces of bluing), calibre 13 mm with strong stripes; blued breech tails, decorated with gilded decoration; round-bodied locks, decorated with a net, signed: "Cassaignard à Nantes", swan-necked hammers; silver fittings, hallmarked, cut and chased with flowers, foliage and trophies, cap nails decorated with a Turk's bust, silver thumb pieces; walnut stocks, carved (one stock cracked); length 29,5 cm.
