Small flintlock naval officer's pistol, converted to percussion, pocket (or basque) model, forced bullet barrel with two side panels then round, finished with a bead, remains of bluing and gold in thunder, calibre 9 mm; gilded breech tail; lock signed: "... À Toulon"; silver fittings, chased with flowers and trophies, cap in the shape of a sea dog's head; walnut stock, slightly carved with foliage; length 17 cm. (Small accident to the trigger guard fixing). Late 18th century. Fairly good condition.
