Naval officer's flintlock pistol, converted to percussion type 1779, called "à tête de chien de mer", iron barrel with sides then round, finished by a bead, caliber 13,5 mm; flat-bodied lock, signed: "CAMP...AC À SARLAT"; iron trimmings; walnut stock, carved with a dolphin's head, handle carved with scales; iron ramrod; length 25,5 cm.
End of 18th century, beginning of 19th century. Quite good condition.
It is probably CAMPAGNAC in Sarlat, harquebusier of the middle of the XIXth, which signed undoubtedly at the time of the transformation with percussion.
