Flintlock trombone, strong bronze barrel, round, with three registers, flared at the end, length 39,5 cm, inner diameter at the muzzle 45 mm; military lock type 1777, stamped with a letter surmounted by a Phrygian cap; lock and barrel stamped, below: "MATHIEU - GAVEL"; cut iron fittings; walnut stock; wooden ramrod with horn tip; overall length 80 cm.
