Pastel pasted on canvas: Portrait of a dragoon officer in a light blue suit, red breastplate, golden braids, buttons and epaulets; he wears the knight's cross of the order of Saint-Louis; on the back, an old label specifies: "Éléonor Éloi Dancel, captain commanding the regiment of dragoons of Royal-Cravate. Retired on May 8, 1787, by act signed Louis and below signed by Marshal de Ségur, Minister of War"; 46 x 38 cm.
Late 18th century, early 19th century. Good condition.
