A JADE AND SILVER PLATED MOUNTED ‘THREE THRIENDS OF WINTER’ MAGNIFYING GLASS China, The jade dating to the Qing Dynasty The mount circa 1900 / 1920 The silver plated mount is partly open-worked and chiselled with the theme of the “Three Friends of Winter”. It is also set with cabochons of hardstones including “apple green” jadeite jade. The grasp is surmounted by a jade belt hook / belt buckle with the terminal carved with a chi dragon head while the top is carved notably with a lingzhi fungus and a lotus.
