Rocaille mantelpiece in violet wood veneer and gilded bronzes. Large enamelled dial with black Roman and Arabic numerals on a white background. The front and sides are glazed to reveal a sundial. Rich decoration of bronzes with framing of leafy volutes and flowery cartouche. It rests on four small curved feet and topped with a brown patina bronze renown. Louis XV style work, circa 1900. 75 x 36 x 17 cm. Small lack of enamel in the lower left corner.
