Folded fan, the silk leaf richly embroidered in gold chain stitch with two large flowering vases on the sides. The central cartel is inspired by the famous engraving by Moreau Le Jeune (1741-1814), "Le départ pour Marly". In the Tuileries garden in Paris, a group of elegant people are walking towards the gate opening onto the Champs-Élysées.
Cut-out, engraved and gilded brown tortoiseshell** mount. In the centre, a gallant is offering a rose to the woman of his choice. Lovers on the sides crown flaming hearts on an altar of Love.
