Folded fan, the painted paper sheet of three shepherd couples resting or dancing with their sheep. A mother and her daughter on the right, and a merchant controlling the arrival of bales of goods, complete the composition.
Monogrammed and dated on the right "FB 1767".

Carved and engraved ivory* mount decorated with haliotid mother-of-pearl lined cartels highlighting portraits and radiant suns. A merry drinker holding a jug and a glass adorns the central medallions, and the plumes.
