Harmignie Ferdinand (1889-1955) has a predilection for the portraits/nudes but also painted still lifes and views of interiors. He was trained at the academy of Mons and was a member of the circle "Bon vouloir": artistic circle of Mons created in 1895 and the last real Salon of Artists in Belgium! He exhibited in several shows between 1911 and 1948. The museum "BAM" of Mons possesses several of his works in its collections.
