Set of six silver table forks, the handle decorated with fillets and finished with a large shell, four decorated with coats of arms, three of which are identical, and two decorated with a figured coat of arms. Paris, late 18th century Weight : 567,79 g (slight wear to the teeth) Coat of arms of the Amelot du Chaillou family. The Amelot family is originally from Orléans. It had among it a great number of magistrates and exercised a great number of charges. Coat of arms: Azure with three hearts of gold surmounted by a sun of the same. Motto: "Est illis igneus ardor.
