Seated figure
He is leaning on his right leg, his hand resting on his knee, his left leg folded under his buttocks.
The body, slender to the extreme, gives the figure a modern look that is reminiscent of the works of the sculptor Henry Moore, an avid collector of Pre-Columbian art. This typology is rare and our model is close to the one reproduced in the book " Rediscovered Masterpieces of Mesoamerica ", by Gérald Berjonneau, Jean-Louis Sonnery and Émile Deletaille, 1985, p. 171, pl. 239.
