A lidded box with relief design on each side. The lid shows a scenery with seated Gaja Lakshmi on a lotus flower holding lotus flowers in raised hands while another pair of hands is showing the abhaya and varada mudra. She is dressed in a long striped dhoti and a robe, jewellery adorning her body. Her eyes seem closed in a calm state, her head decorated with a high crown and a circular aureole behind her head. She is flanked by two rising elephants pouring water into the flowers blossoms. The top corners are filled with floral decorations. The longer side of the box shows a scene of two mystical birds or phoenixes with their necks entwined. The shorter side shows two paradise birds on branches and a heart-shaped ornament in the middle.
