Manjushri depicted seated on a lotus throne with four arms and backed by a beaded aureole. Below the throne is an inscription. He is wielding a sword in his right hand above the head, the lower hand is holding a vajra. The left hand is clasping a vajra or ghanta in front of the chest and the second hand is holding the scripture with the Prajnaparamita sutra. His head is tilted to his left and he is smiling gently. The backside of the wooden statue is flat and shows a crack in the center.
