He arrived on the 25th at Mayence: "I made the road from Chalons to
Mayeance without having any injury"; Napoleon reviewed them on the place of arms, and they are going to leave for Spain. He has passed through Verdun, "a beautiful and well fortified city", through Metz... Indications on the price of food...
