A singular and two-coloured representation, it goes against the grain of some of his future production. However, the pre-Columbian inspiration of the figure can already be seen, closer to a Teotihuacan mask than a broken mouth. The complementary colours are opposed and reduced to the status quo by the outline... like two armies stopped by an armistice.
