Ø50mm, ca. 90g, richly engraved American Art Nouveau case, so called "True Box Hinged Case", silver, case number 13426, signed special quality Vacheron & Constantin Ankerchronometer movement, very rare fine adjusting device, chronometer balance, wolf's toothing, striping decoration, signed Vacheron & Constantin, specially adjusted for A. E. Elbe by Vacheron & Constantin Switzerland, signed enamel dial A.E. Elbe Bloomington Illinois, blue minutes, gilt hands, in very beautiful condition, including an extremely attractive silver pocket watch chain, in working order. This pocket watch is obviously an American watch for which one of the finest Vacheron & Constantin Ankerchronometer movements was specially ordered in Geneva.
