Of straight line, the decorative motifs are inspired by ancient floral bouquets and arabesque decorations taken from Pompeian paintings and their Renaissance reproductions. Consoles with bands centred by lion heads between spirals and masks on the sides, truncated cone legs with grotesque carvings. High mirrors decorated in relief with gilded candelabra motifs, winged griffins, medallions with portraits, imaginary animals, vases and plant festoons.
