With a frontispiece and 12 colour plates. The decoration and layout are by François-Louis Schmied. Copy (n°1) and nominative (to Monsieur Adolphe Rosenthal), signed by the publisher, with a suite of 37 plates of the colour essays (mould and foxing on some), a suite of 37 plates in black on China paper, a colour suite of 33 plates and 5 signed colour drawings of the hors-texts on pp. 11, 20, 42, 48, 72 (small defect). Some pages creased on some plates, spine of the cover a little yellowed and small tear on the first cover, some discharges and foxing.
