So far, everything is in order: two Kenyans are leading the Olympic final of the 3000m steeplechase (the country has held the title since 1968) and Moses Kiptanui, the three-time world champion, the first to have covered the track, which is strewn with hurdles and rivers, in less than 8 minutes, is in the lead at the start of the final lap, ahead of Joseph Keter.
