Arabic manuscript in black ink, the text in cursive calligraphy preceded by the imperial number (tughra) of Mehmed II and a bismallah, the document partially reinforced with a red textile on which is indicated "waqf of the late Zaganos Pasha 1 / 16 ”, followed by the signatures of six witnesses, two inscriptions in the margin, dated in the last line. Length: 114 cm; width: 20.5 cm Condition: 21 plies, partial reinforcement with a red textile, stains. An endowment document (vaqifname) for the religious complex of the vizier Zaganos Pasha in Balikesir with the tughra of Sultan Mehmed II the Conqueror, dated beginning of jumada i ah 866 / February Provenance - Private Collection
