LONGINES (Chronograph Angle Horaire / Lindbergh ref. L26024112), circa 2001
Pilot's chronograph inspired by the model of the watch created for the pilot Charles A. Lindbergh by Longines in 1927. Large brushed steel case with clipped back, sapphire crystal and plugged balance wheel (silk-screened logo, signed and numbered). White enamel dial with three silvered circled counters: small seconds at 9 o'clock, minutes at 12 o'clock, hour at 6 o'clock, Roman numerals and longitude scale in blue. Blued steel Breguet-style hands and double date window at 3 o'clock (day and date in English). Bidirectional steel bezel with notched and graduated longitude scale. Oversized ball winding mechanism for maximum grip with pilot's gloves. Longines black leather strap with original pin buckle and a havana sport leather strap.
Movement: LONGINES mechanical automatic caliber / L674.8 based on Valjoux 7750. Swiss.
Diameter: 42 mm. Condition: Very good (Case, certificate of origin and Longines booklet).
