Unique edition of this rare book of Marian emblems, illustrated with a title-frontispiece, a plate with the arms of Diego-Ferdinand de Villegas and 26 full-page emblematic figures engraved in intaglio by Gaspar Bouttats.
The text is in Latin and Dutch. On the title, the words Virgo and Maria are arranged in the form of a cross.
