SCULPTURE
in lacquered wood, formerly gilded, representing the Amida Buddha, eyes half-closed. He is in front of a halo decorated in light relief with a lotus and clouds from which 28 rays emerge, seated in dhyani mudra on a blossoming lotus resting on a pyramidal base with several tiers decorated with lotus petals.
(Eight rays missing, halo damaged and reattached, lacquer jumps, restorations to the hands, cracks and small damages)
