TIFF file 7279x4843 118MB "Place du Trocadero. It's been two hours since we entered the 3rd millennium. The clock has been turned back on. The Eiffel Tower marks the time. It is January 1, 2000. A new era is beginning for humanity. And I'm wandering on the square when a puddle of water suddenly splits the Eiffel Tower in two. Thus, the photographer recounts this moment of transition when, as if it were itself borrowing a temporal bridge, the tower, hieroglyphic against a nocturnal background, offers this double image of the old and the new.
