This poster, which features five of Saulterre's most beautiful sculptures, is also the cover of his book, SAULTERRE, Entre les fils tissés par le soleil. It was created in collaboration with Jean-Gabriel Tordjman, who imagined the space in which the sculptures evolve. Symbolic and narrative, they tell of the desire for expansion and elevation that is part of being human. Clay, bronze, cement, stainless steel are the materials of these works which seem to link the earth and the cosmos. Winged creatures, fragments of metal pointing to the heavens, monumental geometric forms, they trace the contours of a true cosmogony.
