The original of this work is a "Scratching" dated 2015, a work with a blade that attacks the lacquer covering the glass plate. In the same way that Michelangelo made a form emerge from the block of marble that seemed to be imprisoned there, the artist, here, digs into the plate and, thanks to an impulsive yet masterful play of lines, allows his "David" to emerge. A symbol of the harmony of proportions, this classical figure is here revitalized by the dynamism of movement. A new genesis of the work takes place, based on inner energy. The original plate of the David is the foundation of his work and is not offered for sale by the artist.
